Visit

Long Pond Ironworks State Park is located in West Milford, Passaic County, New Jersey and features something for all visitors: hiking, mountain biking, boating, hunting, fishing, historic interpretation and nature and wildlife watching.

The Long Pond Ironworks Historic District is located in the heart of the park, next to the Wanaque River, and contains the remnants of a formerly industrious ironworking community and includes old stone walls, furnaces and waterwheels.

​The Friends of Long Pond Ironworks and the State Park operate a visitor center and museum to help visitors interpret the park's history and offer information about hiking trails and other nearby attractions.

Hours

Starting April 12th, The Visitors Center & Museum are open Saturdays & Sundays, 1PM-4PM

The Historic District walking trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Self-guided Tour Brochures and Trail Maps are available at the Visitor Center & parking lot kiosk.
